Clinton speech to University of Minnesota on November 6, 2005

Check out a speech former President Bill Clinton made to a University of Minnesota audience on November 6, 2005, "Clinton says U.S. should improve damaged image". It was excellent.

You can listen to it and the Q&A session online courtesy of Minnesota Public Radio.

I may write more about this later, but meanwhile, one of the best lines not mentioned in the MPR story on the speech concerns the economic policy innovation Bill Clinton brought to the process, "arithmetic".

I like Bill Clinton. This speech and the one he gave at the 2004 Democratic convention shows why he was a good president. Too bad the Dems can't seem to find anyone who can energize people like he does.
