Get ready for Chicago's 2007 municipal elections

Elections in 2 weeks. While I have your attention...

Mark your calendars for February 27, 2007. That's the date for Chicago's General Election for Mayor, City Clerk, Treasurer, and Alderman. Besides brain-dead Mayor and Alderman who want to spy on everyone everywhere all-the-time, it's an opportunity to run candidates against machine politicians who probably haven't had an electoral aerobic workout (i.e. running a campaign against another candidate) in years if ever.

Some key dates to note follow.
